My name is Jacob Braybrooke and I’m a recent graduate holding a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree from Staffordshire University in the fields of Film, TV & Radio and Negotiated Study – Music Broadcast Journalism. I’m now open to work in these industries and I’m looking to keep developing a professional portfolio so that I can eventually make a career out of my active hobbies. I can still remember how I walked into the radio studios during an open day at Cambridge Regional College and a ‘Eureka’ moment came to my head, later developing a huge passion for exposing emerging and lesser-known music on the radio. I always felt, growing up, that I was surrounded by a lot of very commercial music and this is something that I aim to change about the world. I firmly believe that I’m a unique individual due to my interests in music that was produced before my time and I’m looking for a new ‘Eureka’ moment now that I am navigating the tunnel of transitioning to adult life after my time at university.
